Your $200 deposit holds your share and comes off your final bill. The final cost is based on the animal’s actual hanging weight which may vary slightly.

What Is a Split Quarter?

A ¼ beef share is cut as a split quarter.

The front and back of a beef have different cuts. A split quarter gives you beef from both. This means you get a good mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, and other useful cuts.

What Will You Receive?

Every animal is different, so amounts will vary. A standard ¼ beef share will usually include:

Premium Steaks

Packaged two steaks per pack.

• 4–6 ribeye steaks

• 4–6 T-bone or porterhouse steaks

• 3–4 top sirloin steaks

• 1 flank or skirt steak, depending on the split

Roasts and Slow-Cooking Cuts

Great for slow cookers, Dutch ovens, and cold winter meals.

• 3–4 chuck roasts

• 1 arm roast

• 1–2 rump or sirloin tip roasts

• Beef shanks or soup bones

  
  

Most roasts weigh about 2½–3 lbs each.

Everyday Beef

Easy options for weeknight meals.

• 30–45 lbs of ground beef

• 3–4 one-pound packs of stew meat

• 1–2 packs of short ribs

• 3–4 one-pound packs of cube steak

Choose free pickup at our farm near Irma, Alberta, or meet us during one of our regular drop-offs to:

We also offer free delivery within 50km of the farm.

How Much Freezer Space Will I Need?

A ¼ share provides about 120–140 lbs of packaged beef.

Plan for about 4–5 cubic feet of freezer space. A small or medium chest freezer will usually hold it.
